Carrie C. (Kegel) James - 102, of Lansdale, PA went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Dock Terrace.
She was the loving wife of the late William James. Carrie was born in Dickson City, PA to the late Charles Kegel and the late Hannah (Dingleberry) Kegel.
She was employed at Scranton Dry Goods for 20 years and Philco-Ford in North Wales for 10 years. Carrie was an active member of the Senior Adult Activity Center in Harleysville and a member of the Boom-Bah Buckateers Band. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and making dolls. Carrie loved playing the piano and singing and she enjoyed crosswords and jigsaw puzzles.
She was a member of Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Harleysville where she sang in the church choir and was an active member of the Woman's Missionary Society.
Carrie is survived by her son, William G. James & wife, Leila of Walnutport, PA; 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward & Charles Kegel.
A memorial services will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Dock Woods Community Room, 278 Dock Drive, Lansdale, Pennsylvania 19446.
