Adel Samir Rizkalla , 73, of Philadelphia, PA; formerly of Cairo, Egypt entered into internal peace and went home to be with the Lord at 4pm on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

He was the loving husband of Maria Ignez Silva for 20 years. Adel was born in Cairo, Egypt to the late Samir Attia Rizkalla and the late Aida Hana.

He graduated from Koba high school, class of 1967. Adel graduated from the University of Beirut, class of 1971, with a bachelor's degree in political econoy. He was a retired business owner.

Adel was a member of St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Greater Philadelphia in Norristown, PA.

He enjoyed reading, traveling, religion and politics.

In addition to his wife, Adel is survived by his three sons, George Adel Rizkalla & wife, Sandra of Wilkes Barre, PA, Victor Adel Rizkalla & wife, Sara of Sydney, Australia, and Michael Adel Rizkalla & wife, Mary of Cairo, Egypt; his six grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Mary & St. Kyrillos Coptic Orthodox Church, 2500 Unionville Pike, Hatfield, PA 19440.

Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Souderton.
