Agris Earl Jaunzemis , 92, of Telford, Pennsylvania, formerly of Souderton, Pennsylvania, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Oley, Pennsylvania, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the Lutheran Community at Telford.

He was the beloved husband of Mirdza Rozite (Ukstins) Jaunzemis, with whom he shared 71 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Liepaja, Latvia, Agris was the son of the late Teodors Jaunzemis and the late Zelma (Rieksts) Jaunzemis.

A proud patriot, Agris served his country in the United States Army as a radio technician during the Korean Conflict in Germany. Following his military service, he built a distinguished career in manufacturing and management. He worked as an electrician for the former Link-Belt Company in Chalfont before serving as plant manager for Penndale, a division of Coca-Cola, in Lansdale, and later for Mrs. Paul's Kitchen in Roxborough. He concluded his career as President of Can Corp of America in Blandon, where he led for 15 years.

Agris was a devoted man of faith throughout his life. He was a longtime member of the Latvian Baptist Church of Bucks County in Applebachsville, where he faithfully served as both secretary and deacon. He was also a member of the gun club in Oley and most recently worshiped at Immanuel Leidy's Church in Souderton.

A gifted problem solver, Agris enjoyed repairing radios and was fascinated by how things worked. He loved automobiles, attended numerous Indianapolis 500 races, and was an avid follower of car racing. He also had a lifelong passion for reading military history, especially books about World War II and other conflicts. Through his work, he had the opportunity to travel extensively around the world, an experience he greatly treasured. He also found great joy in listening to classical music. He also enjoyed cross country skiing.

Above all, Agris will be remembered as a hardworking, independent, and generous man whose unwavering faith in the Lord guided every aspect of his life. He was deeply devoted to his family and was admired for his strength, integrity, and willingness to help others.

In addition to his loving wife, Mirdza, he is survived by his three children: Ruth E. Patterson and her husband, David, of Souderton, Pennsylvania; Ronald A. Jaunzemis and his wife, Katherine, of Souderton, Pennsylvania; and Agnes "Sandy" Rutter and her husband, Jeffery, of King George, Virginia. He is also survived by his grandsons, Ryan Patterson of Souderton, PA and Philip T. Jaunzemis and his wife, Amber, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; his granddaughter, Michelle Rutter Friberg and her husband, Patrick, of Washington, D.C.; his great-grandchildren, Alannah Jaunzemis and Kieran Jaunzemis, both of Lansdale, Pennsylvania; and his sister, Aija Konrad and her husband, Ed, of Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, Agris was preceded in death by his siblings, Uldis, Guntis, Rutina, and Janis Jaunzemis.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Immanuel Leidy's Church; 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at 10:00 a.m.

Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
