Angel L. Martinez Melendez , 89, of Richlandtown, PA; formerly of Dublin went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center.

He was the loving husband of the late Pilar Martinez-Martinez for 29 years. Angel was born in Puerto Rico to the late Rojelio Martinez-Colon and the late Minita (Melendez) Martinez-Colon.

Angel was self employed as a Landscaper & Nurseryman throughout his life time.

He was a former member of Groveland Mennonite Church, Pipersville, PA.

He is survived by his four daughters, Anne R. Krause & husband James of Dublin, PA, Margarita Jackson of Sellersville, PA, Lillian Garges & husband James of Danboro, PA, Jessica Walter-Grasso of Dublin, PA; Son, Vincent L. Martinez & partner Denise Eichlin of Perkasie, PA. His seven grandchildren, Rachelle, Jarod, Jeremiah, Eric, Alex, Jessica & Kaytlyn, his five great-grandchildren, Rabecca, Emma, Mazzy, Kloey, & Mila,

He was preceded in death by his second wife, Amada Martinez-Aponte, his son, Angelo L. Martinez, and his brother, Jose L. Martinez.

Angel will be remembered by his family as a very funny person, an artist of all medias, who wanted to be outside all the time. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was always active doing something. Angel liked to assist others, and was very talented to create items from wood.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 10:00 am at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964. A visitation will take place prior to the funeral service from 9:00am to 10:00am on Wednesday.

Burial will take place at Carversville Cemetery.
