Anna "Ann" Marie (Roth) LaViola , 84, of Harleysville, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 26, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was the loving wife of Joseph "Joe" LaViola for 30 years. Ann was born in Allentown, PA to the late Norman Tyson Roth and the late Helen Bertha (Greulich) Roth.

She graduated from North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA, class of 1957.

Ann worked as a machine operator for the former Penn Elastic in North Wales, PA. She was later employed as a Customer Service Representative for AARP (also known as Prudential Insurance and Hartford Insurance) in Ft. Washington for 21 years.

Ann was a member of Corpus Christi Parish where she served with her husband as a greeter for 10 years. She was a member of Country Neighbors in Harleysville, the Pru Girls, the Swing  Alongs in Doylestown, the Harleysville Senior Center, the Generations of Indian Valley in Souderton, the Pennridge Community Center in Silverdale, the Rythmic Society, the Cosmopolitan Club and the TLA grievance group.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and was considered the hub of family and kept everyone connected.

Ann enjoyed cooking, sewing, cross-stitch, gardening and traveling. She also enjoyed playing board and card games, especially pinochle.

In addition to her husband, Joe, she is survived by her son, Paul Wayne Ritter of Sellersville, PA; her daughter, Jonne M. Faust of Harleysville, PA; her grandson, Travis S. Faust of Boyertown, PA; her sister, Hellen Roth of Hatfield, PA; her brother, William Henry Roth & wife, Carol of Hatfield, PA; and her sister-in-law, Suzette Roth of Boise, ID.

In addition to her parents and 1st husband, Paul William Ritter, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Wellington; her two brothers, Norman Roth and Charles "Charlie" Roth; her brother-in-law, James Wellington, and her sister-in-law, Betty Ann Roth.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Corpus Christi Parish, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a memorial mass at 11:00 am.

A future inurnment will take place at St. Peter's Union Cemetery in Hilltown, PA.
