Anna Millan , 92, of Staten Island, New York went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.
Anna was a guest at the Souderton Mennonite Homes, Souderton, PA for the past three months.
She was the loving wife of the late Harry Millan for 39 years.
During her working life, Anna was employed as a Seamstress for Lord & Taylor in New York and Lorry's in Brooklyn, New York.
Throughout her life, Anna was a talented baker, seamstress and had a real green thumb with plants. She was also a very faithful mmber of her church and was always involved with church-related activities. She also enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and spending time with friends and family.
Anna will be remembered as a compassionate, loving, energetic, people person that was always available to help others. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her beloved family and friends.
Anna is survived by daughter, Barbara Rose and husband, Robert; her son, Thomas Millan and wife, Rosanne; her four sisters, Alice Abbio, Kassandra DiVilio, Georgina Grande, and Betty Zougras and husband, Dionysios; her brother, Steve Hionas and wife, Suzanna; her two granddaughters, Lillianne Rose Diaz and husband, Juan Diaz; and, Nina Millan, her grandson, Thomas Millan, Jr.; and her newborn great-granddaughter, Zoe Anastasia Diaz.
In addition to her husband Harry, Anna was preceded in death by her sister, Despina Amentas
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. at Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 1641 Richmond Ave, Staten Island, New York 10314. A viewing is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be private.
