Obituary

Arlene B. (Landis) Delp , 80, of Harleysville, PA; formerly of Skippack, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Dock Woods.

She was the loving wife of the late Dale N. Delp for 52 years. Arlene was born in Skippack, PA to the late Elias M. Landis and the late Katie (Blank) Landis.

She graduated from Collegeville-Trappe High School, class of 1959.

Arlene worked as an office worker for the former Harleysville Insurance. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Arlene then worked as a packager for the former Godshall & Delp Quality Meats in Telford.

She was a lifetime member of Towamencin Mennonite Church where she was part of the ladies sewing circle and played the piano in her younger years.

Arlene volunteered her time at the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes in Souderton.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Arlene also loved her cats. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading, crafts, and day trips to Lancaster and going to the Jersey shore with her late husband.

Arlene was a gentle, soft-spoken woman who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael D. Delp & wife, Wendy of Pine Grove, PA, S. Todd Delp & wife, Michelle of Ulster, PA; her five grandchildren – Jonathan, Caleb, Matthew, Evan, & Corinne; and her sister-in-law, Wanda Landis of Telford, PA.

In addition to her parent and husband, Arlene was preceded in death by her infant brothers, Paul & Homer Landis and her six brothers, Arthur, Alan, Roy, Stanley, Elias, Jr., and Merrill Landis.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Towamencin Mennonite Church, 1980 Sumneytown Pike, Kulpsville, Pennsylvania 19443 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at Towamencin Mennonite Cemetery.
