Obituary

Barbara A. (Mullen) Brown , 90, of Green Lane, PA; formerly of Beaver Dams, NY went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at her residence.

She was the loving wife of the late Charles "Charlie" W. Brown for 59 years. Barb was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Francis Mullen and the late Elizabeth (Rosser) Mullen.

She attended Kensington High School in Philadelphia, PA.

Barb was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She worked as waitress for various restaurants/diners throughout the Philadelphia and New York areas. Barb then worked as a pill packager for the former Sparks Pill Factory in Harleysville, PA and as a technician for the former Livingston Electronics in Montgomeryville, PA. She was employed as a technician for Corning Glass Works in Corning, NY, until retiring in 1997.

Barb was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church - Ridge Valley in Sellersville, PA.

She loved animals especially her llamas and her horse. Barb enjoyed making straw hat wreaths, dining out, playing Solitaire, and traveling to Maryland, Florida, Vegas, and even Ireland. She was proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed attending to Irish festivals.

Barb was a jovial and spontaneous woman who told it how it was and had a good sense of humor.

She is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen B. Stevens & husband, David of Ottsville, PA, Nancy A. Menefee of Harleysville, PA, Barbara J. Croissette & husband, William of Telford, PA; her 10 grandchildren – Tracy, John, Michelle, David, Karen, Robert, Nicole, Noel, William, & Jennifer; her 24 great-grandchildren – Nichelle, Dillon, Jessica, Ryann, Donovan, Liam, MacKenzie, Fiona, James, Daniel, Colin, Corwin, Alexander, Isabella, Abigail, Elijah, Olivia, Isaiah, Shivahn, Andrew, Michael, Matthew, William & Melanie; and her great-great-grandson, Gabriel Spotts of Philadelphia, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, Barb was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Bridget Ann Montgomery; her two brothers, Ronald & Roy Mullen, and her sister, Jean Lamplugh.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church - Ridge Valley, 910 Allentown Road, Sellersville, PA 18960 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
