Beatrice (Betit) Becknell , 73, of Sellersville, PA; formerly of Augusta, Maine, entered into rest and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 with her family by her side.
She was the loving wife of Jan R. Becknell for 53 years and daughter to the late Gabriel and Rose (Janssens) Betit.
She graduated from Coney High School in 1965 and St. Mary's Nursing School in 1968. Beatrice was employed as a Registered Nurse for Blue Cross & Blue Shield for many years.
She enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, sitting around the campfire, baseball games, and playing cards and games, especially hand and foot and pinochle. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends, continuing old traditions and building new memories. She especially adored spending time with her grandchildren through trips, music concerts, sporting events, or any other activity that they were involved with.
She is survived by: Daughter, Karen L. Roehner of Quakertown, PA; Son, Kevin Becknell his wife Nicky of Souderton, PA; her five grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Lauren, Jack, and Ryan, her two Sisters, Catherine (David) Bryant of Gardner, ME, Margaret (Michael) Dostie of Somerville, ME; Two Brothers, Richard (Debbie) Betit of Warminster, PA, John (Glenda) Betit of Haycock TWP, PA.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Roland Betit.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Applebachsville, 837 Old Bethlehem Rd, Quakertown, PA, 18951, where friends and family may gather to remember Bea and her love of life.
