Benn G. Roufs, passed on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the age of 88.

During his lifetime Benn resided in Collegeville and Allentown in Pennsylvania as well as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz in California.

He is a graduate of Klamath Union High School, and continued his college education at Riverside and San Jose State in engineering and architecture.

Benn served our nation with great honor during the Korean War and retired from Lockheed Martin as an Engineer in California.

Benn's love for classical music was so deep that listening to them would bring tears to his eyes. He had great interest in architecture, Frank Lloyd Wright being his favorite architect. His appreciation for art made him decide post retirement to work part time at the Allentown Art Museum and was dearly loved by everyone there. His passion for travel took him all over the world and had such memorable moments and created life-long friends where ever he goes. He loved interacting with people and volunteered his time to help his fellow veterans at the Allentown VA Medical Center. Benn's bigger than life personality and contagious smile had won the hearts of everyone who knew him. His kindness was immense and his heart's generosity was admired by everyone.

Benn was loved by Gerry, his partner and best friend in Pennsylvania, his daughter Pamela Whittington, his granddaughter Vanessa Johnson and great-grandson Dexten Johnson of Santa Cruz, California along with thousands of friends along his journey.
