Bernard William Baron , 91, of Schwenksville, PA formerly of Norristown, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 12th, 2021 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA.

Bernie was the loving husband of the late Carole Diane (Auslander) Baron for 54 years. Bernard was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harry and Leah (Penn) Baron.

A graduate of Bartram High School class of 1947, he then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Jefferson Medical School, and served his internship at Einstein Medical Center and residency at Jefferson Medical School.

Bernie served as a captain in the US ARMY in the medical corp.

He was employed as a Medical Doctor for Norristown State Hospital from 1976 to 1991.

Bernie was an avid reader, and loved playing softball, basketball, and any competitive sports.

He had a terrific sense of humor and loved old movies and theatre.

Bernie is survived by his son, Eric W. Baron of Schwenksville, PA; his two daughters, Pamela R. Young, and husband Jack of Wasilla, AK, and Stacey A. Borghi of Lansdale, PA and his granddaughter, Madaline Rose Borghi also of Lansdale, PA.

In addition to his wife Carole, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur M. Baron.

Memorial services are private and at the convenience of family.
