Jane Elizabeth "Betty" (Garreth) Kerr , 98, of Tylersport formerly of Harleysville, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at her residence.

She was the loving wife of the late Walter Nyce Kerr for 50 years. Betty was born in Harrisburg, PA to the late Alvah Garreth and Ethel (Kuhns) Garreth.

Betty was employed as a Toll Collector for PA Turnpike Commission for 15 years.

She was a member of Spring Mount Mennonite Church.

She held many jobs over the years including: Gra Brams Meats, PA Turnpike Commission, Leidy's, Inc., and the Harleysville Exxon. Prior to the Covid Pandemic she enjoyed playing Bingo at local fire companies - Tylersport, Ringing Rocks, and Sellersville.  She was known for her baking, especially her cream puffs.

She is survived by her two sons, Dennis S. Kerr and wife JoAnn, and Donald S. Kerr and wife Debra; her four daughters, Doris Tarantino, M. Faye McCarty, Susan Thompson and husband Bill, and Nancy Gehman and husband Denny; her 16 grandchildren, her 30 great-grandchildren, and 15 great great-grandchildren, 3 nieces, and 2 nephews.

In addition to her husband, Walter Nyce Kerr she was preceded in death by: her son, Wesley S. Kerr, her two grandsons, Fred J. Tarantino, Jr. and Christopher P. Kerr, her two sisters, Millie O. Moser and Patricia M. Musselman, her two brothers, Robert N. Nice and Charles Lilley; her sister-in-law, Marian K. Alderfer, her two sons-in-law, Frederick J. Tarantino, Sr. and Richard R. McCarty, her two great-grandsons, T. J. Clugston and Bennett Kerr.

A Graveside Service at the convenience of the family.

Inurnment will take place at Salford Mennonite Cemetery.
