Beverly Louise (Cohagen) Cordova, 75, of Lansdale, PA; formerly of Wilmington, DE entered into rest on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

She was the former wife and lifelong friend of Augusto "Gus" Alfonso Cordova. Beverly was born in Lancaster, OH to the late Paul Edward Cohagen and the late Dorothy Pearl (Marks) Cohagen.

She graduated from North High School in Springfield, OH, class of 1966. Beverly then graduated from Ohio State University, class of 1970 and later from Delaware Technical Community College.

She worked as a Home Ec teacher in Washington Court House, OH. Beverly was a devoted mother. She worked as a scientist for DuPont Experimental Station in Wilmington, DE. Beverly was employed as a virologist for Merck Sharp & Dohme in West Point, PA. She was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma of Ohio State University.

Beverly enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, and reading. She loved her cats and watching the Hallmark channel. Her favorite holiday was Christmas.

Beverly was independent, hardworking, creative, artistic, friendly, quiet, and intelligent.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Isabel Cordova of Lansdale, PA; her granddaughter, Angela Marie Cordova of Lansdale, PA; her sister, Gloria Leedle & husband, Robert "Bob" of Newark, DE; her nephew, David Leedle of Atlanta, GA; her niece, Stephanie Lesher of Newark, DE; and her two great-nephews, Zach & Brett Lesher, both of Newark, DE.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964, followed by an informal visitation.
