Bruce C. Leidy , 91, of Sellersville, formerly of Souderton passed away on Thursday, March 31st, 2022 at The Community at Rockhill, Sellersville, PA.

He was the loving husband of Dorothy B. (Garis) Leidy for 68 years. Bruce was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Earl U. Leidy and the late Alice (Cassel) Leidy.

In 1948 he joined the United States Navy as a Seaman and was stationed at Key West, FL.

Bruce was employed as a road engineer for North Penn Transfer, Lansdale, PA where he drove truck for 33 years.

He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Telford. He loved to cook and assisted with many of their Mother and Daughter banquets.

Bruce was a member and volunteer at Generations of Indian Valley.  He also participated in the Pennsylvania Dutch group at Rockhill and the Grundsow Lodge of Skippack. During the Souderton Centennial he was a member of the "Brothers of the Brush".

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed gardening and hunting with friends in Tioga and Sullivan Counties. He was a lifelong fan of Frank Sinatra and John Wayne.

In addition to his wife , Dorothy, he is survived by his daughter, Gail Rettstadt and husband Rodney of Sumneytown, PA and his son, Michael Leidy and wife Annette of Green Lane, PA;, his three grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica and Kendal and his beloved dog Sophie.

He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Phyllis Freed and Joan Moyer.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
