Carole Ann (Horne) Paul , 81, of Telford, PA; formerly of Warwick, NY went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA.
She was the loving wife of Albert W. Paul for 35 years. Carole was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Thomas E. Horne and the late Frances M. (Tracy) Horne.
She graduated from PS #24 in Jersey City, NJ. Carole was employed as a meat wrapper for the former Finest Supermarket in Middletown, NY and then for the former Valley Supreme Supermarket in Pine Bush, NY for more than 10 years, until retiring in 1987.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Warwick, NY and later attended the Spring Mount Mennonite Church.
Carole was a brave, resilient fighter, and she fought cancer four different times. In the end, cancer did not beat her. She was an incredibly loved and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be sorely missed by everyone.
She loved her great-grandchildren, crossword puzzles, the Phillies, reading Stephen King novels, watching NCIS, going to concerts, and traveling to Maine to see the ocean. Carole was a caring, compassionate, supportive woman who had a good sense of humor.
In addition to her husband, Al, she is survived by her brother, Thomas E. Horne & wife, Lena of Carthage, NY; her daughter, Cheryl L. Harris & husband, Robert of Lansdale, PA; her step-daughter, Deanne Mausolf & husband, Vincent of Hawley, PA; her step-son, Matthew S. Paul & wife, Susan of Apex, NC; her granddaughter, Kathleen Harris & companion, Michael Krecicki of Lansdale, PA; her grandson, Robert Harris & companion, Emily Quinn of Souderton, PA; her three step-granddaughters, Nicole Albanesius & husband, Travis of Outer Banks, NC, Amanda Mausolf of Hamburg, NJ, Breanna Trigg of Camarillo, CA; her two great-grandsons, Thomas Harris and Logan Krecicki, both of Lansdale, PA; her two step-great-granddaughters, Olivia Albanesius of Outer Banks, NC, and Emily Guinard of Hamburg, NJ; and her step-great-grandson, Simon Albanesius of Outer Banks, NC.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964, followed by an informal visitation. The service will be Livestreamed.
