Caroline R. (Huff) Childs , 96, formerly of Souderton, PA went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2024 at Dock Woods in Lansdale, PA.

Caroline was the loving wife of William H. Childs for 73 years. She was the eighth of nine children born at her childhood home in Perkasie to the late George E. Huff and the late Alice M. (Magargal) Huff.

Caroline attended Sell-Perk High School in Sellersville, PA. Before her marriage, she worked as a seamstress at the former Crouthamel's Pants Factory in Perkasie, PA and also at the former Dublin Pants Factory before she got married on November 22, 1950. She was then a full time homemaker.

Caroline came to know the Lord in her 50's and was a former member of Grace Bible Church in Souderton, then later at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia and then recently at Heritage Bible Church in Pottstown, PA. She also served as a den mother in Cub Scout Pack #398 in Souderton for several years in the mid sixties.

Caroline loved spending time with her family and being part of family events. She loved reading her Bible, cooking, baking, sewing, watching the Phillies, Eagles and Flyers and doing word search puzzles.

Caroline was a loving, faithful, caring and compassionate woman.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four sons, William James Childs & wife, Susan of Pottstown, PA, James Edwin Childs & wife, Beverly of Telford, PA, Edwin Allen Childs & wife, Suzanne of Telford, PA, Allen Lee Childs & wife, Elisabeth of Quakertown, PA; her 18 grandchildren – Michael, Lynn, Lauren, David, Kevin, Mary, Steven, Katie, Andrew, Joanna, Grant, Luca, Sarah, Dawn, Daniel, Nicole, Mark and Ryan; and her 13 great-grandchildren – Jameel, Jayvien, Jade, Peyton, Haley, Asher, Luke, Logan, Kieva, Austin, Emily, Eli, and Sophia.

In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Philip Childs and her eight siblings, Alice Moyer, George Huff, Warren Huff, Annie Smith, Sivilla Smith, Rodney Huff, Florence Moyer, and William Huff.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Dock Woods Community Chapel, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
