Obituary

Charles "Charlie" Clement Myers , 91, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Warminster, PA was laid to rest in Jesus on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at The Community at Rockhill.

He was the loving husband of the late Martha (Benner) Myers for 53 years. Charles was born in East Greenville, PA to the late Clement F. Myers and the late Florance J. (Walker) Myers.

He graduated from East Greenville High in East Greenville, PA, class of 1951. Charles was employed as a tile worker for the former American Olean Tile Company in Lansdale, PA. He was a member of the Boy Scouts in Colmar, PA and the Sea Scouts in Pennsburg, PA. Charles attended Eastern Bible Institute in Green Lane, PA and graduated from Calvary Bible Institute in Lansdale, PA.

He was a former deacon at Pennridge Gospel Tabernacle in Blooming Glen, PA and the Quakertown Assembly of God Church. Charles was also a member of the Assembly of God Church in Perkasie, PA. He also taught Sunday school and Children's church at Quakertown Assembly of God Church and at the Silverdale Brethren in Christ Church. Charles was a member of Silverdale Brethren in Christ Church and recently rededicated his life at the Souderton Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

He taught the Royal Rangers for many years and was a commander in the Royal Rangers.

Charles loved baking, cooking, and canning. He enjoyed going on trips with friends and family, bus tours, traveling internationally, and local bus tours. Charles enjoyed camping with 3 age groups of the Royal Rangers and Men's camping for many years.

Charles is survived by his two sons, David M. Myers & wife, Judy of Sumneytown, PA, Bradley S. Myers of Red Hill, PA,; his six grandchildren – Travis, Troy, Julius & wife, Alison, Tara & husband, Justin, Jackie and Justine; his five great-grandchildren – Jason, Bryson, Piper, Brock, and Reed; his niece, Priscilla Buck of Green Lane, PA; and his close friend, Robin Richard & wife, Amanda P. Richard and their daughter, Avishanie of Collegeville, PA.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his son, John C. Myers; his two sisters, Sarah Riccio & Florence Winsey; his two half-brothers, Clement F. Myers, Jr., & Thomas Kratz; his step-brother, Douglas Bitting, and his step-parents, Russell & Laura (Myers) Stauffer.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Lansdale Seventh Day Adventist Church, 887 Troxel Road, Lansdale, PA 19446 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm.

Burial will take place at Silverdale Brethren in Christ Church Cemetery.
