Charles “Chick” H. Price IV, 73, of Sellersville, Pennsylvania, formerly of Telford, entered into rest at his residence on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Born in Sellersville, Chick was the son of the late Charles Henry Price III and the late Doris Virginia (Abendschein) Price.

Chick was a graduate of Souderton Area High School, Class of 1970. He proudly served his country in the United States Army stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War, where he also played football during his military service.

Throughout his working life, Chick built a career as an auto body technician. He worked at Hayes Auto Body and Wheels Automotive in Telford, the former Shearer’s Welding in Telford, Wilcox Auto Salvage & Metal Recycling in Sellersville, and Cope’s Garage & Collision Solutions in Souderton. He eventually returned to Wheels Automotive, where he remained until his retirement.

Chick was a member of Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek in Telford and a past member of the Telford VFW Post 5308.

A lifelong automobile enthusiast, Chick had a deep love for cars and racing. He especially enjoyed NASCAR and stock car racing and took great pride in restoring his beloved 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Some of his favorite memories were made during annual family trips to Long Beach Island. He also enjoyed playing chess.

Chick will be remembered as a hardworking, caring, and devoted family man. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a way of bringing laughter and warmth to those around him. His love for his family, his passion for automobiles, and the memories he created with those he loved will remain with them always.

He is survived by his former wife, Lucy A. Gawronski and her husband, Brandon Behm, of Kintnersville, PA; his son, Charles “Charlie” H. Price V, of Richlandtown, PA; his three grandchildren, Lilleighana D. Price, Quinleigh K. Price and Charles Henry Price VI, all of Springfield, PA; and his two sisters, Sandra L. Browning and her husband, Timothy, of Perkasie, PA, and Pamela S. Yoder and her husband, William, of Quakertown, PA.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, 171 Church Road, Telford, PA 18969. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

A future inurnment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
