Claribel Rodriguez, 71, of Ambler, Pennsylvania, formerly of Souderton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Ambler Extended Care Center.

Claribel was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico, to the late Antonio Rodriguez and the late Matilde Santos.

She graduated from Escuela Asunción Rodriguez de Sala with the Class of 1973.

Claribel was employed at the former Lawrence Printing Service in Souderton and later as a bookbinder for T & A Bindery Inc. in Telford. She was also employed as a cafeteria worker at Lutheran Community at Telford for 17 years, retiring in 2020.

Claribel was a devoted member of Iglesia Misión Evangélica in Souderton, where she faithfully served as church treasurer for 15 years and as a Sunday school teacher. Her faith and love for the Lord were central to her life.

She enjoyed camping, shopping, flower gardening, and collecting cat memorabilia. An avid reader, she especially enjoyed Christian books and the Bible.

Claribel will be remembered for her loving and generous heart, honesty, gentle spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. She had a gift for making others laugh and was known for her integrity, kindness, and willingness to help others. She especially loved children and brought warmth and joy to the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her three brothers, Benjamin Rodriguez and his wife, Margarita, of Hatfield, PA; Antonio Rodriguez and his wife, Aminda, of Puerto Rico; and David Rodriguez of Souderton, PA; as well as her pastor, Francisco Cruz and his wife, Priscilla, of Telford, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Walter Torres.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Iglesia Misión Evangélica, 242 Railroad Avenue, Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m.

Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Cemetery of Telford, 222 E. Broad St., Telford, PA 18969.
