Constance "Connie" Joy (Fretz) Smith , 68, of Sellersville, PA; formerly of Souderton, PA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Jefferson Health Hospice at Warminster.

She was the loving wife of the late David B. Smith for 49 years. Connie was born in Sellersville, PA to Raymond Fretz and the late Blanche (Cope) Fretz.

She attended Pennridge High School. Throughout her working lifetime, Connie was employed as a bank teller, a bookkeeper, a crafter and a babysitter.

She was a member of Immanuel Leidy's Church where she served as a choir member and a faithful volunteer. Connie was a member of the Zion Choral Society in Center Valley, PA. She also volunteered at the North Penn Crisis Pregnancy Center (now known as North Care Women's Clinic) in Lansdale.

Connie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandson. She also loved her monthly sister nights, day trips to Lancaster with her friends and small group bible study.  Connie enjoyed crafts, painting, crocheting, sewing, singing, and collecting. She was an avid reader of the Bible and devotionals. Connie was known for her variety of homemade Rice Krispie Treats.

Connie was a dedicated, kind, strong-willed woman who had a deep faith, a beautiful singing voice, and a good sense of humor.

She is survived by her five children, Chad Jeffrey Smith & wife, Donna-Sue Miller-Smith of Ottsville, PA, Joshua Ryan Smith of Pennsburg, PA, Rebecca Diane DiCandia & husband, Alessandro of Ferndale, PA, Benjamin Michael Smith & wife, Evangeline of Sellersville, PA, Jeremy Brian Smith & wife, Justine of Sellersville, PA; her 23 grandchildren – Jannelle, Christianna, Melanie, Tyler, Eli, Abigail, Madeline, Cassidy, David, Mason, Grace, Gavin, Gabriella, Massimiliano, Teodoro, Amber, Phoenix, Elijah, Elisha, Melody, Levi, Jethro, & Kaleb; her great-grandson, Finn Matthew Penko of Allentown, PA; her five sisters, Lucille Rush of Telford, PA, Joan Vogt & husband, Lee of Quakertown, PA, Kathleen Fretz & husband, Robert of Sellersville, PA, Marjorie Barrett of Doylestown,  Lola Smith of Telford, PA; and her two brothers, Raymond Fretz & wife, Sharon of Alpharetta, GA, Steven Fretz of Souderton, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was preceded in death by her son, David Matthew Smith and her brother, Randall Fretz.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.

Inurnment will take place at Immanuel Leidy's Church Cemetery.
