David Soto-Gonzalez , 67, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Puerto Rico passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Nilsa Cardona. David was born in Puerto Rico to the late Cruz Gonzalez-Velasquez and the late Evangelista Soto Colon.

Throughout his life, David took pleasure in watching old movies, sharing jokes and funny stories with those he loved and speaking with his family and friends over the phone. He was known for drinking "white" coffee, which always contained extra milk.

David will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather that loved his family wholeheartedly and unconditionally. His eyes would light up with joy whenever one of his beloved family members would enter his home. He was a man with a great sense of humor that always cherished bringing laughter to others. As a man with a powerful love of God, he could often be found spending his time studying his bible.

David is survived by his five daughters, Maribel Soto, and husband Angel, Evaliz Soto, Kimberly Soto, Liza Perez, and Rayza Perez; his five sons, David Soto, and wife Felicia, Josue Soto, and wife Jasmine, Miguel Lopez, Jose Soto, and Eddie Soto; his 22 grandchildren, Ashley, Eric, Claritza, Josue, Adriana, Lala, Emma-Isabel, Kaiser, Aron, Juda, Isais, Jaselyn, Josiah, Yahel, Angel, Victoria, Gianni, Nelson, Aiden, Yeraliz, Dakary, Luis; and his three great-grandchildren, Yaxiel, Adriel, Xavier.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Danny Soto.

Fue el amado esposo de Nilsa Cardona. David nació en Puerto Rico, hijo del fallecido Cruz González-Velásquez y del fallecido Evangelista Soto Colon.

A lo largo de su vida, David disfrutaba viendo películas antiguas, compartiendo chistes e historias divertidas con sus seres queridos y hablando con su familia y amigos por teléfono. Era conocido mucho por su café que le gustaba xtra claro y así siempre era consentido por su familia.

David será recordado como un padre, abuelo y bisabuelo devoto que amaba a su familia de todo corazón e incondicionalmente. Sus ojos se iluminaban de alegría cada vez que uno de sus queridos familiares entraba a su casa. Era un hombre con un gran sentido del humor al que siempre le gustaba hacer reír a los demás. Como hombre con un poderoso amor por Dios, a menudo se le podía encontrar dedicando su tiempo a estudiar la Biblia.

A David le sobreviven sus cinco hijas, Maribel Soto y su esposo Ángel, Evaliz Soto, Kimberly Soto, Liza Pérez y Rayza Pérez; sus cinco hijos, David Soto, y su esposa Felicia, Josué Soto, y su esposa Jasmine, Miguel López, José Soto y Eddie Soto; sus 22 nietos, Ashley, Eric, Claritza, Josue, Adriana, Lala, Emma-Isabel, Kaiser, Aron, Juda, Isais, Jaselyn, Josiah, Yahel, Angel, Victoria, Gianni, Nelson, Aiden, Yeraliz, Dakary, Luis; y sus tres bisnietos, Yaxiel, Adriel, Xavier.

Además de sus padres, le precedieron en la muerte su hijo, Danny Soto.
