Denis Stager , 66, of Telford, PA passed into the eternal care of his Savior on November 14, 2020 at his home. Denis was born on October 28, 1954 in Johnstown, PA to Elmer Michael and Eleanor (Carmel) Stager.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Carol, of Telford, PA, and his children, Caitlin Stager of Harleysville, PA, Patrick (Shannon) Stager of Norfolk, VA and his brothers: Greg (Marcia) Stager of Bald Eagle, PA, Mark (Irene) Stager of Chesterfield, VA, Chris (Dorothy) Stager of Mishawaka, IN, and Jeff Stager of Perry County, PA, a grandson, Evan Stager of Norfolk, VA, as well as a former wife, Kathleen (Anderson) Cox of Chalfont, PA. Denis also loved his son, Tim who preceded him in passing.

Denis had a very storied and interesting professional career. He was a respected professional who understood all elements of video, audio, and data integration. Most recently he had a consulting practice where he designed the corporate studio and national video distribution systems for the Black News Channel. As a National Systems Integration Manager for Sony's Broadcast Division, he supported data and broadcasting integration for major venues throughout the United States. At Omicron Consulting, he managed a variety of diverse projects including the initial deployment of Merck Corporation's HPV vaccine throughout the United States. He held other technical management positions including at Midwest Communications, News Channel, and was a partner in Training Technologies, a company that developed companywide training support materials for General Electric's Locomotive Division. He started his career at the University of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Electric Corporation. He graduated with a Bachelors degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

Denis was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend and lived to be of service to the Lord. In retirement Denis obtained his CMT certification to be able to assist medical missions work in Bangladesh and he was active in his local church. He loved technology, music, and playing his guitar, and frequently jammed with friends at local venues. He was also an avid motorcycle rider and private pilot. Last year he completed a solo cross-country flight after doing similar trips on his BMW motorcycle. His greatest loves, though, were his wife, Carol, his children, grandson  and cats Piper and Doppler.

He bestowed his unique humor, reasoned thought, and positivity wherever he went, and believed regrets and worry were truly a waste of time. He was fully engaged in all aspects of his very active life and his family, friends and community deeply mourn his loss.

Due to the resurgence of the COVID-19 Virus a service and gathering honoring of Denis' life will be held at a later date. His remains will also be interred at a later date per Denis' wishes.

Denis especially enjoyed being a private pilot and flew critically ill patients and their families needing long distance transport for medical treatment through Angel Flight. Memorial contributions for Denis may be made to:
