Derek J. Brady , 33, of Hatfield, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 8, 2020 in the company of his loved ones.

Derek was born in Cape May Court House, New Jersey to Timothy E. Brady and Patricia A. (Scandlin) Borawski.

A graduate of North Penn High School class of 2005. In recent times he was a painter by trade, painting homes formally with Real Painters of Philadelphia and most recently with CBF Painting Contractors in Chalfont PA. He made many friends along the way through his schooling, career, and hobbies.

Music was one of his many passions, he enjoyed all kinds of music and wouldn't hesitate to discuss what he's been listening to. He loved movies and being with friends and family. He was a very social person who loved being around his loved ones.  His older brother Daniel was his best friend and always supported him along with his two younger brothers Dylan and Dean. His greatest achievement is his daughter Peyton, who he loved without bounds. He supported her with all of her activities from Beauty Pageants to Cheerleading, they played games together and enjoyed the outdoors.  All he ever wanted in life was her happiness and well-being.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather, Joseph C. Borawski; his daughter, Peyton M. Brady; daughters mother, Katlyn N. Cossaboon of Willow Grove, PA; three brothers, Daniel J. Brady of Hatfield, PA, Dylan J. Borawski of Philadelphia, PA, and Dean J. Borawski of Jenkintown, PA; his maternal grandmother, Joan E. Scandlin of Hatfield, PA; his paternal grandparents, Dan and Carol Brady of Georgetown, DE.  Derek is also survived by his many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, co-workers and friends.

A Viewing will be held on Saturday November 14, 2020 at 2pm, at the Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 East Broad Street, Souderton, PA 18964, where friends may meet with the family up until a private family service beginning at 4:00pm.

Due to COVID restrictions the service and inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers a GoFundMe page has been set up for Peyton's future education.
