Dolores K. Rupley , age 87, of Lansdale, PA; formerly of Warrington, PA entered into eternal rest on October 24, 2024 at Dock Woods Community, Lansdale, PA.
Dolores was the loving wife of the late Theodore "Ted" G. Rupley for 59 years until his passing in 2016. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Edward Vernon Korn and the late Edna May (Conrad) Korn on February 26, 1937.
Dolores graduated from Philadelphia High School for Girls, class of January 1955. She was a concert pianist who passed her love of music on to her children.
Dolores was employed as a mortgage loan officer for Trevose Federal Savings & Loan in Southampton, PA; as well as holding various part-time jobs in the Warrington community as she and Ted raised their three children. She was active in her children's endeavors, often volunteering to chaperone events, hosting youth club meetings, leading Girl Scouts, and serving as the President of the Football Parents for Central Bucks East.
She was a member of the bell choir, as well as a former Deacon and Trustee at Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church, Hartsville PA where she and Ted were members for many years. Most recently, she was a member of Wentz's United Church of Christ, Lansdale and a member of the quilting group at Salford Mennonite Church, Harleysville.
First and foremost, in her heart were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, which she graciously supported with time, talent, faith, and love. In her spare time, she enjoyed family camping, cooking, gardening, canning and preserving, sewing, and quilting.
Dolores and Ted moved to Dock Woods Community in 2009, where she volunteered in the gift shop and spent countless hours quilting with other residents.
Dolores is survived by her two daughters, Joan E. Collette & husband, Joseph of Charleston, SC, Gail R. Kutulis & husband, Robert of Center Valley, PA; her son Robert B. Rupley & wife, Brenda of Alexander, NC; her five grandchildren: Christopher Collette & wife, Shannon of John's Island, SC, Megan Call & husband, Derek of Downingtown, PA, Jana Ford & husband, Michael of Powhatan, VA, Amanda Kutulis of Mesa, AZ, Robert Kutulis of Center Valley, PA, and Christina Martin of Naples, FL; as well as 10 great-grandchildren: Connor, Gavin, and Aubrey Collette, Charlie and Nora Call, Brycen and Tyler Ford, Oliver Smith, and Sophia and Joleen Yanez. She is also survived by her sister, Jane Ann Waldspurger of Acworth, GA.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Vernon E. Korn.
As she walks forever in His presence, she will be remembered lovingly by all who knew her and remain in our hearts and in the fabric of our lives forever.
A graveside service and inurnment for immediate family will be held at Saint Stephen Reformed Cemetery, 249 East Main Street, New Holland, PA 17557.
