Dorothy M. (Weston) Frantz , 86, of Quakertown, PA; formerly of Hatfield, PA & Willow Grove, PA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at Belle Haven Nursing Home.

Dorothy was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Frederick Weston and the late Martha (Berry) Weston. She grew up in Somerton, PA.

She graduated from St. Basil's Academy, Philadelphia, PA, class of 1956. Dorothy attended Little Flower High School.

Dorothy worked as an office clerk for Prudential Insurance in Willow Grove, PA, as a coin processor for the former Mount Everest Mint in Willow Grove, PA, and as a scheduler for CASE Power & Equipment of Pennsylvania in Montgomeryville, PA. She later worked in the software production department for the former Siemens in Fort Washington, PA. She also worked as an Avon Representative in the Willow Grove area for many years.

Dorothy loved family genealogy, and her cats named Tuffy. She enjoyed reading, sewing, trips to beach at Ocean City, NJ & Wildwood, NJ, and keeping in contact with some of her grade school/high school friends.

Dorothy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was an independent, hardworking, honest woman who had a good sense of humor.

Dorothy is survived by her four children: Deborah M. Daniels of Rockland, ME, William G. Frantz & wife, Breffny Rouse of North Wales, PA, Lisa D. Gibat & husband, Thomas of Perkasie, PA, Ronald S. Frantz & wife, Marion of North Myrtle Beach, SC; her 10 grandchildren – Melissa Malo & husband, Ricky, Josh Daniels & wife, Melanie, Greg Frantz & wife, Alexa, Dan Frantz & wife, Katie, Tom Gibat & wife, Jami, Dillon Gibat & companion, Maggie, Jackie Reimer & husband, John, Shannon Mountz & husband, Weston, Kristine Halstead & husband, Thom, Julia Frantz & husband, Jeremiah Halteman; and her eight great-grandchildren – Taylor Malo, Emma Rose Daniels, Macie Frantz, James Gibat, LJ Reimer, Carson Reimer, Chloe Halstead, Colton Halstead.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Edwin, Frederick, George & Rod Weston and her two sisters, Martha Furlong & Loretta McGlade.

At the request of Dorothy, the family will have NO formal services.
