Obituary

Dorothy K. (Kirkner) Keisling , 68, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Chalfont, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 29, 2023, at her residence in Souderton, PA.

She was the loving wife of Paul D. Keisling for 47 years. Dorothy was born in Bryn Mawr, PA to the late Joseph L. Kirkner and the late Eleanor (Bell) Kirkner.

She graduated from Henderson High School of West Chester, PA, class of 1972. Dorothy graduated Messiah College of Grantham, PA, class of 1976. Dorothy was employed as a Special Education Assistant for Lakeside Educational Services of Horsham, PA.

Dorothy was a member of Chelten, A Church of Hope of Dresher, PA.

Throughout her life, Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren at the beach on the Outer Banks of NC. She was an avid reader, loved to serve others, enjoyed traveling both locally and internationally, skiing with her children, and relaxing while playing the piano. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who had warm eyes, was kindhearted, a great listener, humble and compassionate. Dorothy made new friends everywhere she went.

In addition to her loving husband, Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Abigail Bayley and husband, Richard, of Glenmoore, PA (children: Kendall, Morgan, Payton, Taylor); Rebecca Gauci and husband, Justin, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL (children: Blake, Harper, Madden); her son, Matthew Keisling and wife, Danielle, of Bath, OH (children: Avery, Nolan, Lincoln).

A Celebration of Life & Faith Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 10:30 am at Chelten, Church of Hope, 1601 Limekiln Pike, Dresher, Pennsylvania 19025.
