Edith Pauline Sell , 98, of Souderton, PA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her residence.

She was born in Green Lane, PA to the late Franklin D. Sell and the late Jerusa L. (Brey) Sell.

Edith worked as a cashier for the former Provident Book Store in Souderton. She was then employed as a seamer for former Granite Hoisery Mill in Souderton. Edith later worked as a dietary aide for the Souderton Mennonite Homes.

Edith was a former member of the Souderton Mennonite Church. She was also one of the founding members of Spring Mount Mennonite Church.

Edith enjoyed reading books, crossword puzzles, and watching the Phillies and EAGLES. She was a hardworking, caring, compassionate woman who was very spiritual and had a good sense of humor.

Edith is survived by her two sisters, Ethel Norris of Aiken, SC & Joanne Rohrer of Lancaster, PA and her numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, and great-great-great-nieces and great-great-great nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Harry W. Sell; her sister, Shirley Sell; her sister-in-law, Erma Sell; and her brothers-in-law, Gayle Norris & Robert Rohrer.

A viewing will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at Souderton Mennonite Church, 105 W. Chestnut St., Souderton, PA 18964 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at Souderton Mennonite Church Cemetery.
