Edith Margaret (Lucas) Sigmans of Quakertown, Pa., entered into rest on Thursday April 30. 2020 at Bell Haven Nursing Home, Quakertown, Pa.

She was the loving wife of the late Maurice Joseph Sigmans for over 45 years.

Edith was born in Zion Hill Pa., to the late William and Clara (Harwick) Lucas.

Edith loved to travel to many places with her husband, including Alaska, Hawaii and Europe. She loved music and played the Accordion in the Pennridge Merrymakers and Quakertown Senior Center band. She also was a member of Christ Evangelical Church, Trumbauersville, where she sang in the Choir, and belonged to the Quilting Group and LCW. She had knowledge of antiques and history and participated avidly in the Quakertown Historical Society. She always had a garden at her home, and was an artist. She was a Cub Scout Den mother and Girl Scout leader in the 1960's.

She is survived by her son William "Bill" Sigmans and wife, Jennifer Sigmans of Perkasie, Pa and her daughter Cheryl Sigmans Diehl of St. Petersburg, Florida. She is also survived by her sisters, Martine Beahn and Jean Koons.

Edith Sigmans is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, whom she was generous to and dearly loved.

Services to honor Edith Sigmans will take place at a later date. Her inurnment will take place at Zion Hill Cemetary, Zion Hill, PA.
