Edward "Ed" A. Brunner , 77, of Souderton, PA passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Abington Memorial Hospital.
He was the loving husband of the late Judith A. (Sargent) Brunner for 53 years. Ed was born in Allentown, PA to the late Edward Brunner and the late Maria (Emer) Brunner.
He graduated from Central Catholic High School in Allentown, PA, class of 1960. Ed served as an Communications Equipment Technician in the United States Navy for 21 years. After his service, he worked as a tech manual writer for the former AEL in Montgomeryville, PA. Later, Ed was employed as a tech manual writer for Boeing in Philadelphia.
He member of the Telford VFW and the Cannoneers Sportsmens Club in Lansdale.
Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, and going to the horse races. He was a hardworking, quiet, reserved man who was a dedicated father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Ed is survived by his three children, Scott Brunner of Portsmouth, RI, Christine R. Tumelty of Souderton, PA, & Jason A. Brunner of Lansdale, PA; his granddaughter, Ariel L. Tumelty of Souderton, PA; his grandson, Justin A. Tumelty of Souderton, PA; his great-granddaughter, Makenzie A. Godshall of Souderton, PA; and his two siblings, Maryann Sabe & Thomas Brunner.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Brunner.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Inurnment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
