Elizabeth "Betty" Jane
Bell
Dec 15, 1944 — Oct 27, 2026
Elizabeth “Betty” Jane (Brenner) Bell, 81, of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, formerly of Chalfont and Roslyn, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at St. Luke’s University Hospital and Health Network in Bethlehem.
Betty was the beloved wife of Frank J. Bell., with whom she shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late William Brenner and the late Elizabeth J. (Morris) Brenner.
A graduate of Olney High School in Philadelphia, Class of 1962, Betty devoted much of her life to caring for her family. In addition to her role as a homemaker, she worked as a customer service representative at the former Bucks County Bank in Chalfont. She later served as a manager at the former National Penn Bank, later known as First Service Bank, in Doylestown for 10 years before retiring in 2010.
Betty was a faithful member of St. Isidore’s Roman Catholic Parish in Quakertown, where she lovingly served as a Eucharistic minister. Her faith was an important part of her life, reflected in the kindness, compassion, and love she shared with those around her.
She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, visiting Cape May and Atlantic City, New Jersey, and losing herself in a good book. Above all, Betty treasured the time she spent with the people she loved. She will be remembered as a caring, loving, kind, and compassionate woman who was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
In addition to her loving husband, Frank, Betty is survived by her three daughters, Kimberly “Kim” M. Rowen of Perkasie, Pennsylvania; Christine “Tina” A. Delle and her husband, Jason, of Sellersville, Pennsylvania; and Pamela “Pam” E. Biresch and her husband, Chuck, of Perkasie, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her two grandsons, Sean D. Biresch of Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, and Tyler J. Delle of Sellersville, Pennsylvania; her granddaughter, Arielle C. Rowen, and her companion, Gavin Moyer, of Hatfield, Pennsylvania; her sister, Susan A. Smith of Sellersville, Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Robert E. Petro, and her brother-in-law, Douglas C. Smith.
A Memorial Mass will be held in the spring of 2027. Please check back in February for additional details.
