Obituary

Elizabeth "Liz" Jane (Wible) Kapski-Meyers , 90, of Souderton, formerly of Perkasie, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Souderton Mennonite Homes, Souderton, PA.

She was the loving wife of the late Garwood L. Meyers for 13 years. Liz was born in Delaware County, PA to the late John B. Wible Sr. and Edith (Ennis) Wible.

After graduating from Media High School, Media, PA, Liz attended the Philadelphia School of Modeling and modeled for the Young Women's Christian Association of Wilmington, Del. She was employed in banking for a number of years. Her last employment prior to retirement was as a receptionist for Matthew Blum, MD, Sellersville, PA.

Liz was a former member of the Eastern Star, Lenape Chapter, Sellersville, PA.

She is a member of Deep Run Mennonite Church East and formerly attended Silverdale Brethren in Christ Church, Silverdale, PA where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, sang in the choir, and assisted with the Pioneer Club.

Liz was an avid reader who enjoyed cooking and observing the beauty of God's creation. Traveling and vacationing which included cruises to Alaska, Bermuda, sightseeing trips, visits to family and friends, were enjoyed by both Liz and her husband Garwood.

She is survived by her daughter Judith Anne Corbett and her husband Lee of North East, MD;  her two step daughters, Phyllis A. Nyce and husband Philip of Perkasie, PA and Pamela J. Strunk and husband Tim of Auburn, PA; her three step sons, Dennis L. Meyers and wife Sharon of Harleysville, PA, Feryl L. Meyers of Kellers Church, PA, and  Keith L. Meyers and wife Melissa of Blythewood, SC; her grandson, Josh and 13 step grandchildren, and 18 step great-grandchildren; her sister, Doris Winkleman of Wilmington, DE.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Garwood L. Meyers, and her former husband, Stephen J. Kapski; her sister, Edie Shockley, and her three brothers, John, Robert and Wesley Wible.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 am at Deep Run Mennonite Church East, 350 Kellers Church Road, Perkasie, PA 18944.
