Elizabeth "Betty" S. (Clemens) Bradford, 98, of Lansdale, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Grand View Hospital.
Betty was born in Mainland, PA to the late John C. Clemens and the late Susie (Stauffer) Clemens. She was the loving wife of first husband Ezra "Ed" Brandenberger for 17 years until his death in 1962, and of Theodore "Ted" Bradford for 45 years until his death in 2008.
She graduated from Eastern Mennonite H.S., Harrisonburg, VA. class of 1942. Betty graduated Grand View Nursing School, Sellersville, PA in 1945. Betty was employed as a Registered Nurse for Grand View Hospital as well as the Hatfield Mennonite Home.
She was an active member of Calvary Church in Souderton for 60 years. She was involved and supported many ministries at Calvary.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great great-grandmother. She enjoyed anything that had to do with family! Cookouts, picnics, cookie or donut making and breakfast with the girls- to name just a few. She was an avid Philly sports fan! You could get an update on any team from her faster then you could on ESPN. Her crossword puzzle and jumble were always done and she'd beat you in Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune any night of the week!
She is survived by her four daughters, Donna E. Gehman & husband Ernest of Telford, PA, Sherrie S. & husband Omer Liechty of Leo, IN, Mary Kay & husband Dan McMillan of Snellville, GA, Denise & husband Mark Atkinson of Telford, PA; Two Sons, Jon & wife Betty Brandenberger of Fort Wayne, IN, Tedd & wife Lisa Bradford of Lansdale, PA; her 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Liechty, great-grandson, Clayton Stouffer, five sisters, Miriam S. Souder, Margaret S. Clemens, Susie S. Landes, Hannah S. Stettler and Mary C. Gross and eight brothers, Claude S., John S., Jacob S., Alpheus S., Samuel S., Abram S., and Ezra S. Clemens, and Lester S. Clemens.
A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Church, 820 Rt. 113, Souderton, PA on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:30am in Heritage Hall.
Private burial will take place at Calvary Church.
