Esther (Hendricks) Davis , 83, of Green Lane, PA; formerly of Lansdale, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Grand View Hospital.

She was the loving wife of the late Harry B. Davis for 49 years. Esther was born in Franconia Township, PA to the late Marvin Hendricks and the late Mabel (Gross) Hendricks.

She worked as an assembler for Atlas Chemical Industries in Valley Forge, PA. Esther was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked as an assembler for the former Lemmon Pharmaceuticals (now known as Piramal Pharma Solutions) in Sellersville, PA and later for Pittman Corporation in Harleysville, PA.

Esther was a member of Immanuel Leidy's Church where she belonged to the Ladies of Leidy's. She loved helping at the semi-annual rummage sale. Esther volunteered for Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Hands in Service.

She loved playing games and taking walks with her grandchildren. Esther enjoyed attending her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews' sporting events and extracurricular activities. She loved hosting Sunday family dinners, card nights, traveling with her sisters, and annual summer vacations in Ocean City, MD. Esther enjoyed weekly visits to her children's house to help out around the house. She was considered the head of the "Army of Aunts".

Esther enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, ironing, and fixing clothes. She consistently supported people who were in need or experiencing difficult times.

Esther was a selfless, accepting, loving, giving, strong-willed woman who was always positive, had a good sense of humor, and was well-organized.

She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela J. Pennie & husband, Stephen of Sellersville, PA, Monica L. Davis of Green Lane, PA; her six grandchildren – Amanda & companion, Justin Stewart, Sean, Madison, Olivia, Zoey, & Dante; her great-grandson – Kaiden; and her two sisters, Fern Vasey & husband, John of Telford, PA, and Pearl Walter & husband, Henry of Green Lane, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, Esther was preceded in death by her two brothers, Kenneth Earl Hendricks & Curtis Hendricks; and her two sisters, Edith Rupp & Ruth May Gent.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964. Following the service, there will be a time of food and fellowship.
