Obituary

Eva (Bergey) Nyce , 89, of Telford, PA entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Telford.

She was the loving wife of the late Carl M. Nyce for 61 years. Eva was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Wilmer L. Bergey and the late Emma R. (Moyer) Bergey.

She began working as an assembly worker for the former Schoenoman's in Souderton and then assisted her family in the family business, Bergey's Florist, in Telford. Until the age of 80, Eva worked as a self-employed housecleaner for various community area families who then became lifelong friends.

She was a devoted member of Spring Mount Mennonite Church where she served as a youth group sponsor and was very active in the children's nursery and hospitality ministries. Eva was a longtime volunteer at the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes in Souderton.

She lived simply, loved deeply, and walked in faith genuinely. Her life's joy was encircling herself around her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in love. Eva was very devoted to her family. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and bird watching.

Eva was known for her warm smile and her positive spirit was visible to all. She will be deeply missed by her family. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Caring Hospice for their compassionate care during these past weeks.

She is survived by her son, Steven C. Nyce of Souderton, PA; her two daughters, Sharon K. Bishop & husband, David of Doylestown, PA, Karen S. Reichart & husband, Stephen of Telford, PA; her four grandchildren, Joshua David Bishop & wife, Karly of Doylestown, PA, Nicole Kay Bahnck & husband, Brian of Doylestown, PA Nathan Stephen Reichart & wife, Krista of Hatfield, PA, Brandon Carl Reichart & wife, Sarah of Telford, PA; her six great-grandchildren, Anna Kay Bahnck of Doylestown, PA, Ella Nicole Bahnck of Doylestown, PA, Olivia Marie Reichart of Hatfield, PA; Easton David Bishop of Doylestown, PA, Jordan Carl Reichart of Hatfield, PA, Walker Duane Bishop of Doylestown, PA; and her sister, Elva Hange & husband, Charles of Milton, PA (formerly of Blooming Glen, PA).
