Floyd Joseph Herman, 73, of Harleysville, PA; formerly of Lansdale, PA passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Abington-Lansdale Hospital.

He was the loving husband of the late Rita Ann (Stasek) Herman for 35 years.

Floyd was born in Lansdale, PA to the late Floyd Preston Herman and the late Eleanor (Yocum) Herman.

He graduated from North Penn High School, class of 1965. Floyd attended trade school for 1 year. He served in Vietnam with the US Army.  Floyd worked as a steel worker for Precision Tube & Company in North Wales, PA, as a school bus driver for the North Penn School District, and as a driver for TransNet in North Wales, PA.

He was a member of the VFW Post 5954 in Red Hill, PA.

Floyd loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, coins and stamps and watching the Phillies and the EAGLES.

Floyd was a hardworking, generous, honest man who was devoted to his family.

He is survived by his son, Floyd John Herman of Telford, PA; his daughter in law, Vivian Herman of Telford, PA; his daughter, Yolanda Herman of Harleysville, PA; his granddaughter, Dana Herman of Telford, PA; his sister, Diana Miller & husband, Glen of Telford, PA; and his brother, Kenneth Herman & wife, Jeanette of Lansdale, PA.

In addition to his parents and wife, Floyd was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Herman.

A graveside service will be held in Mid-August. Please check back for details.

Burial will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
