Francis "Corky" J. Ryan, 63, of Harleysville, PA passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024 at his residence.

Francis was the loving husband of Maureen Ryan for 15 years. He was born in Havertown, PA and raised by the late William Bertholf, Sr. and the late Dorothea (Chamberlain) Bertholf.

Francis graduated from Hatboro-Horsham Senior High School, class of 1978. He then attended Montgomery County Community College.

Francis worked at Standard Pressed Steel Company in Jenkintown, PA. He was then employed as a Police Officer for the Jenkintown Borough for more than 30 years.

Francis was a member of the Montgomery County FOP Lodge #14 in Hatboro, PA and a former member of Branch Valley Fish & Game Club in Perkasie, PA.

Francis loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He loved taking trips to Centre County and annual family trips to Outer Banks, NC. Francis enjoyed hunting, fishing, classic rock music, going to the beach, and Clint Eastwood movies. He was a passionate Philadelphia sports and Penn State Football fan.

Francis was a devoted family man who was funny, helpful, and generous.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his six children, Kevin Ryan & wife, Jennifer of Aaronsburg, PA, Shannon Ryan & husband, Bryan of Ephrata, PA, Meghan Ryan & husband, Brian of Reading, PA, Michael Park & wife, Wendi of Souderton, PA, William Park & wife, Violet "Krystal" of Philadelphia, PA, Megan Park & companion, Marco Ladnyk of Harleysville, PA; his 11 grandchildren – Connor, Gavin, Amy-Jane, Brighan, Grady, Kaylyn, Michael, Lily, Liam, Juliette, & Tommy; his six siblings, James "Jimmy" Ryan of Chalfont, PA, Stephen Ryan & wife, Terry of Doylestown, PA, Mary Petschauer & husband, Michael of Millersville, MD, Holly Kobie & husband, Fred of LaBelle, FL, Michelle Peter of LaBelle, FL, and Jane  Slotterback & husband, Daniel of Warminster, PA.

In addition to his parents, Francis was preceded in death by his father, James Ryan and his brother, William Bertholf, Jr.

A Celebration of Life service will be private at the convenience of the family.
