Obituary

On March 31, 2024, Franklin "Frank" R. Warnke, 57 of Quakertown went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by family at home after a 14 month battle with pancreatic cancer.

Frank was the loving husband of Judith "Judy" L. (Moyer) Warnke with whom he shared 33 years of marriage. He was the son of Betty (Roth) Warnke of Quakertown, PA and the late Franklin R. Warnke, Sr.

Frank was a graduate of Quakertown High School and Upper Bucks Vo-Tech with high honors class of '84. Frank attended Northampton Community College with an associate degree in computer science graduating in '86. He started his career at Software Consulting Services, LLC as a systems technician in '88 which is located in Bethlehem, PA and worked there for the last 35 years.

Frank was a long term member of Deep Run West Mennonite Church where he served as an elder for 16 years. He was the church moderator for 4 years and an adult Sunday school teacher for more than 20 years.

Frank was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing, archery and spending time with his family. He was a hardworking, compassionate, honest man who had a good sense of humor, a smile on his face, and was always working on a project.

Frank is survived by his wife, Judy of Quakertown, PA and their three children, Rebecca Wismer, and her husband, Jacob of Perkasie, PA, Nathaniel and Philip Warnke, both of Quakertown. He had two granddaughters, Hannah and Sarah Wismer as well as a grandson on the way, due in May. He is also survived by his mother, Betty Warnke of Quakertown, PA and his sister, Jennifer Schaeffer and her husband, David of Coopersburg, PA.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Warnke, Sr. of Quakertown and his in-laws Richard and Norma Moyer of Pipersville, PA.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Deep Run Mennonite Church West, 1008 Deep Run Rd, Perkasie, PA from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am.
