Gail Saparito , 80, passed peacefully with family by her side after a brief illness on May 30 th , 2022. Known as Nan and Gailie girl she was a sassy Irish Italian girl who had a love for her family and a passion for music. For many years she was an avid golfer, bowler, and gardener. She enjoyed all of these things with her family, participating in leagues and also as a member of the Raiders golf group.
Gailie girl had a desire to learn all about those who came before her. This lead her on several trips to Ireland where she met and connected with many of her distant relatives and made many long distance friendships. She inspired others to establish the Lettermore Historical and Genealogical Society becoming their first member. She was a queen of social media connecting to so many near and far. #untilwemeetagain
She is survived by her children, her daughter, Kim & husband, Kurt, sons, Richard & wife, MaryEllen and Brian & wife, Danielle. Her grandchildren, Brian and Brent Lopez, Stephanie, Sara, Maureen, Richard, Mason, and Jake Saparito, her great-grand children, Hailey, Savannah, Emma, Addison, McKenna, and James. She was also survived by her brother, Dennis.
In addition to her husband of 58 years, Richard, Gail was predeceased by her parents, Walter Ridge and Rose (Iannacone), brothers Walter and James, sister, Rosemary Mormelo as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, dear to her.
A celebration of life mass will take place on July 9 th , 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 747 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ 08005.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one of Gail's charities: Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
