Gerald "Jerry" Lee Moyer , 82, of Harleysville, PA; formerly of Line Lexington, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Brookdale Dublin.

Jerry was the loving husband of Barbara W. (Viguers) Moyer for 60 years. He was born in Abington, PA to the late LeRoy U. Moyer and the late Viola Mae (Bishop) Moyer.

Jerry graduated from North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA, class of 1959.

He served as a jeep driver in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War. Jerry worked as a self-employed mechanic doing business as "Suburban Services" in Harleysville, PA. He was then employed as a customer service manager for the former Gasboy International in Lansdale, PA for 47 years, until retiring in 2003.

Jerry attended Faith Church of Sellersville. He was a member of the Souderton-Harleysville Fish & Game Club.

Jerry loved listening to the Gaithers and traveling with his wife both nationally and internationally. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, classic cars, and watching the EAGLES and Phillies.

Jerry was a hardworking, determined, generous, and helpful man.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Donna Elizabeth Tindall & husband, Keith of Harleysville, PA; his son, Douglas Gerald Moyer & wife, Kimberly of Pennsburg, PA; and his six grandchildren – Amanda, Paul, Hannah, Sarah, Devon, & Gavin.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964 from 10:00 am - 11:00, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 8:30 am at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
