Gerald "Jerry" Lewis, 82, of Souderton, Pennsylvania, entered into rest on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Crestview Center in Langhorne.

Born in Perkasie, Pennsylvania, Jerry was the son of the late Leonard Lewis and the late Ester (Atkinson) Lewis. He was a proud graduate of Pennridge High School, Class of 1961.

Jerry honorably served his country as a Sergeant in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he worked as a security guard at Limerick Nuclear Power Plant and later at McNeil in Spring House. He also owned and operated a local commercial janitorial business, taking pride in his hard work and dedication.

Jerry found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid reader of true crime novels, especially enjoying works by James Patterson and Alex Cross. He loved action movies, spending time walking and biking, and taking his family to the movies. A familiar face at local diners, Jerry enjoyed his daily coffee and a good cup of soup. He also had a deep appreciation for jazz music.

Known for his easygoing nature, Jerry was a kind and humble man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His patriotism and quiet generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

He is survived by his three children, Kristine Bonfiglio-Cain of Telford, PA, Robert Bonfiglio and his wife, Carnie Wilson of Los Angeles, CA, and Jennifer White of Tampa, FL; his six grandchildren, Allisen, Alexis, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Lola, and Luci; his two great-grandchildren, Colton and Lily; and his dear friend, Steve Bobb of Souderton, PA.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Lewis, and his sister, Peggy Lewis.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
