Gordon L. Groff, 66, of Perkasie, formerly of Pennsburg, PA passed away and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at his residence in Bedminster Twp.

Gordon was born in Lansdale, PA to the late Merrill Groff and the late Shirley (Keeler) Groff.

A graduate of Christopher Dock, class of 1971, Gordon entered VS Service in California volunteering in the Head Start Program.  He then furthered his education, receiving his Associates Degree, and becoming a teacher at the Head Start Program. Throughout most of his working lifetime he was employed as a painter for Aldus and Ron Halteman of Franconia. The last five years he was a receiver for Landis Supermarket, Schwenksville, PA.

Gordon attended the Bally Mennonite Church.

He had a passion for photography, with shows and weddings filling his free time.

Gordon is survived by his two sisters, Glenda Souder & husband Vern of Harleysville, PA and Charlene McHugh & husband Ted of Gilbertsville, PA; his two brothers, Roy Groff of Telford, PA, and Brad Groff & wife Grace of Russellville, KY; Also several nieces and nephews. Family wishes to acknowledge the special care given to their brother, Gordon, by his cousin, Kathleen Stoltzfus.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Faith Mary Groff.

A tentative memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 3:00pm at Bally Mennonite Church, 1481 Rte 100, Barto, PA 19504
