Obituary

Harold S. Geib , 93, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Harleysville, PA & Manheim, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.

Harold was the loving husband of the late Cora Mae (Gettel) Geib for 70 years. He was born in Manheim, PA to the late George W. Geib and the late Ruth (Stauffer) Geib.

Harold graduated from Manheim Central High School in Manheim, PA, class of 1948. He attended Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA for 2 years.

Harold was employed as a retail store manager for Agway, Inc. in Dublin, PA for more than 30 years. From 1985 to 1990, he worked as a manager of a local furniture store in Sebring, FL. He was a school bus driver for 20 years for Transportation Services in Souderton, PA.

Harold was a member of Indian Valley Faith Fellowship where he served as a former deacon and choir member. He was a former active member at the Sebring Church of the Brethren in Sebring, FL where he served as a deacon and choir member. He was a former volunteer with Care and Share Thrift Shoppes in Souderton, PA.

Harold enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife, Cora Mae, in all 50 states. He was an avid photographer and Phillies fan and also enjoyed bowling. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their events. He enjoyed going to Gospel concerts, Souderton Sundaes in the Park, and Community Concerts. He loved manicuring his lawn and enjoyed making different patterns each time.

Harold was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a hardworking, dependable, sociable man who had a great sense of humor and was known for his quips.

Harold is survived by his two sons, Gary L. Geib & wife, Shelly of Harleysville, PA, Ronald B. Geib & wife, Merle Lee of Harleysville, PA; his daughter, Cynthia J. Lisik & husband, John of Venice, FL; his daughter-in-law, Louise A. Geib of Telford, PA; his 10 grandchildren – Justin, Matt, Leah, Katie, Dan, Ed, Krista, Ali, Seth, & Sarah; and his 18 great-grandchildren – Owen, Shane, Samantha, Matt, Jr., Olivia, Jordan, Mady, Jack, Dylan, Penelope, Gavin, Grace, Teddy, Marigold, Reagan, Ellie, Gregory IV, & Nicholas.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Douglas E. Geib.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Indian Valley Faith Fellowship, 190 Maple Ave, Harleysville, PA 19438 from 5:00 pm - 6:45 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 pm.

A future inurnment will take place at Chiques Church Cemetery in Manheim, PA.
