Harriet (Fingado) Allen , 95, of New Castle, Delaware; formerly of Dublin, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Friday, August 26th, 2022 at Christiana Care Hospital, Newark, Delaware.

She was the loving wife of Floyd T. Allen for 62 years. Harriet was born in Harvard, New York to the late Melvin and Ursula Fingado.

She was a graduate of Harvard High School, New York class of 1945.

Throughout her lifetime, Harriet enjoyed looking after family and friend's children.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing crafts and loved crocheting and knitting.

Harriet is survived by her son, Melvin J. Allen of Quakertown, PA; her three daughters, Susan M. Kauffman & husband Donald of New Castle, DE, Marian Karcher and Barbara Diehl both of PA; her grandson, Samuel J. Allen of Quakertown, PA; and her granddaughters, Sherry, Kristine, Diane, Pamela, Alicia and Alexis, and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Allen in 2009, and her two sons, Thomas and Rex Allen.

A Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
