Helen C. (Fonseca) Godshall , 89, of Hatfield, Pa passed away and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at her residence.

She was the loving wife of the late Alfred Marvin Godshall for 66 years. Helen was born in Fall River, Massachusetts to the late Manuel Fonseca and the late Eva Marie (Petit) Fonseca.

She was a long standing member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she served as a  former Sunday School Teacher and volunteered for many of the church functions.

She enjoyed doing cross word puzzles, word searches, dancing and crocheting afghans. Helen loved to travel with her late husband Alfred, and enjoyed going back to visit her family in Fall River, MA.

Helen is survived by her two sons, Alfred Steven Godshall and wife Debra of Colmar, PA, and Kevin Paul Godshall and wife Cheryl of Pennsburg, PA; her daughter, Deborah Lynn Clemens  and husband Randy of Quakertown, PA; 7 Grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren; her brother, Albert Fonseca of Fall River, MA; her sisters Anna Rose Jacob of Fall River, MA, and Theresa Gillotti of Sheffield Village, OH.

She was preceded in death by husband, Alfred, her brothers, Manuel, Roland and Russell Fonseca; her sisters, Mary Botelho and Emily McNabb.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 40 North Main Street, Hatfield, Pa 19440. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.

Inurnment will take place at Hatfield Cemetery.
