Helen C. (Ryan) Hahn, 82, of Hatfield, PA; formerly of Souderton, PA went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 27, 2024 at Jefferson - Lansdale Hospital.
Helen was the loving wife of the late Carl E. Hahn, Sr. for 46 years. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Rody Ryan and the late Clara (Griffin) Ryan.
Helen graduated from Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, PA, class of 1959. She worked as a factory worked for the former Peerless Shoe Company in Telford, PA and later for the former American Olean Tile in Lansdale, PA for 15 years. She then worked in the laundry department for the Souderton Mennonite Homes.
Helen was an active member of Immanuel Leidy's Church where she was part of the Ladies of Leidys. She was also a volunteer at the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes in Souderton, PA.
Helen loved her church, her family, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her Lord and Savior and enjoying sharing the gospel with others. Helen was an avid reader of the Bible. She enjoyed jigsaw and word search puzzles and traveling with her sister to visit relatives.
Helen was a caring, compassionate, loving, generous woman who was a bit boisterous, had a good sense of humor, and was always an encouragement to others.
She is survived by her daughter, Adine Rose Doran & husband, Dave of Hatfield, PA; her son, Carl E. Hahn, Jr. & wife, Beverly of Aldie, VA; her four granddaughters, Nicole Lynn Moyer & husband, Blaine of Harleysville, PA, Cassandra Margaret Olszyk & husband, Nicholas of Hatfield, PA, Alexandria Ryan Hager & husband, Alexander of Perkasie, PA, Renée Rose Doran of Hatfield, PA; her 10 great-grandchildren – Tyler, William, Cooper, & Annalee Moyer, Chloe & Oliver Olszyk, Oaklie, Navi, Drake, & Brett Hager; and her sister, Elizabeth "Betty" O'Brien of Mayfair, FL.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her grandson, Zackery Allen Doran and her five siblings, Mary Wilson, Martin Ryan, Roger Ryan, Joan Sanceciz, and Thomas Ryan.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.
Burial will take place at Immanuel Leidy's Church Cemetery.
