Ida (Rosenberger) Flewelling , 93, of Souderton, PA formerly of Ridgeway, Ontario, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 14, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem, PA.

She was the loving wife of the late Elwood Flewelling for 30 years. Ida was born in Souderton, PA to the late Henry and Ida (Lockart) Rosenberger.

A graduate of Souderton High School, class 1945, she attended Messiah College, Grantham, PA and graduated from Goshen College, Goshen, IN with a BA degree in Education. Ida taught Kindergarten and Grades 1 & 2 for the Souderton Area School District, and also taught for three years for the Navajo people in Bloomfield, New Mexico, for the Brethren in Christ Mission.

She was a former member of Souderton Brethren in Christ Church.

She is survived by her three step-sons, Harold Flewelling his wife Jean of Newville, PA, Barry Flewelling his wife Linda of Landenberg, PA, and Weldon Flewelling his wife Ruth of New Milford, PA; and her step-daughter, Betty Wasser of Little Rock, AK.

In addition to her husband, Elwood Flewelling, she was preceded in death by her step-son, Carl J. Flewelling, and her sister, Elizabeth Gilmore.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 beginning at 1:00pm at Souderton Brethren In Christ Church, 494 Cherry Road, Souderton, PA 18964.

Burial will take place at Heise Hill Brethren In Christ Cemetery, Heise Hill, Ontario, Canada.
