Obituary

Inyang Isaac Inyang , 53, of Quakertown, PA; formerly of Brooklyn, NY went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Monday, March 1, 2021 at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Jane (VanDerbeek) Inyang. Isaac was born in Lagos, Nigeria to the late I.U. Inyang and Alice Inyang of Akwa Ibom, Nigeria.

Isaac graduated from Lagos State University, class of 1993, with a master's degree in accounting. He worked as forklift operator for Off The Wall, Inc in Telford and then for XPO Logistics in Quakertown. Isaac also volunteered for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) in Perkasie.

He was a member of Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria (AKISAN) in Philadelphia. Isaac was also a member of Immanuel Leidy's Church where he served as an usher.

He enjoyed watching soccer, wresting, and boxing. Isaac also enjoyed listening to Bob Marley. He was an avid reader of the Bible and loved spending time with his family.

Isaac was a hardworking, confident, Christian man who had a good sense of humor and loved his Lord.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his son, Mitchell D. VanDerbeek & wife, Kaitlyn of Quakertown, PA; his three siblings, Richard Inyang of Uyo, Nigeria, Grace Inyang of Lagos, Nigeria, & Sunday "Sunny" Isaac Inyang of Lagos, Nigeria; and his mother-in-law, Nancy N. VanDerbeek of Telford, PA.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964.

Burial will take place at Immanuel Leidy's Church Cemetery.
