Janet (Stoudt) Mininger , 89, of Souderton, PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.

She was the loving wife of the late Claude B. Mininger for 64 years. Janet was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Paul N. Stoudt and the late Thelma Edna (Reichley) Stoudt.

She attended Souderton Area High School. Janet was employed as a food service worker for the Souderton Area School District for 30 years.

She was a former member of Limerick Chapel where she sang in the church choir. Janet attended Bible Baptist Church in Sellersville. She volunteered at the Souderton Mennonite Homes.

Janet loved to cook and work in her flower gardens. She enjoyed going to the shore in Ocean City, NJ. Janet loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was an independent, spirited, loving woman who had a deep faith and love for the Lord.

Janet is survived by: Daughter, Kay D. Thompson & husband, Thomas, Jr. of Lakewood, CO; her grandson, Thomas D. Thompson, III of Centennial, CO; her granddaughter, Carrie A. Thompson of Hollywood, CA; her great-grandson, Nathan Thompson of Centennial, CO; her great-granddaughter, Hartley Honetschlaeger of Hollywood, CA; her step-Great-grandson, Nolan Slama of Centennial, CO; her brother, Gerald Stoudt & wife, Patricia of York, PA; and her sister, Shirley Clemens of Souderton, PA.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 11:00 am in the auditorium at Souderton Mennonite Homes, 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, PA 18964.

A private burial will take place at Limerick Garden of Memories.
