Jean (Kallenbach) Grote , 92, of Telford, formerly of Hatboro, PA passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Lutheran Community at Telford.

She was the loving wife of Roy U. Grote. Jean was born in Abington, PA to the late Paul Edward Kallenbach and the late Marie Matilda (Oesterle) Kallenbach.

Jean was employed as a Manager for Mellon Bank retiring in the late 90's.

She loved to sew, quilt, cook and read. Jean also was an animal lover, especially cats.

Jean is survived by her sister, Doris Kallenbach of Hatboro, PA; her niece, Karen (Michael) Ciccotti of Hatboro, PA, her nephew, Gary (Mary) Johnson, her great-nephews, Mike (Paige) Ciccotti, Paul and Colin Johnson, and great-niece Sarah Johnson, her great-great grand-niece, Eilis Ciccotti, her great-great grand nephew, Finn McClure her step-daughter Marsha (Ed) Schlamb, of Hatboro, PA, her two step-grandsons, Jesse (Caitlin and Jeff Schlamb; her two step great-grandchildren, Max and Edie Schlamb.

In addition to her husband, Roy, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Marie Freeman, Ruth Kallenbach and Alice Johnson, her two brothers, Paul, Jr. and David Kallenbach, her nephew, Glenn Johnson.

A private inurnment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA. 18940.
