Jennifer L. Johanson , 48, of Hatfield, formerly of Upper Black Eddy, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at her residence.

Jenny was born in Lansdale, PA to the late Louis C. Johanson Jr. and Denise A. (Klim) Kersman of Quakertown, PA.

A graduate of Quakertown Community High School, class of 1995, Jenny attended the Upper Bucks Vo-Tech School for Agriculture. She had a special love for animals, especially injured animals. She was involved with the Swine Classification at the PA State Farm Show for two years.

Jenny was formerly employed as a Horticultural Landscaper and Animal Technician for Lampire Biological Laboratories, Pipersville, PA, during the late 90's early 2000.

In addition to her mother, Denise, she is survived by her step-father, Gary F. Kersman of Quakertown, PA; her companion, Eric Jones of Hatfield, PA; her son, Shannon T. Herman, and wife, Jasmine. Shannon is stationed at the U.S. Army Base at Grafenwoehr, Germany; also her paternal grandmother, Kathleen Johanson of Longport, NJ.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Orville & Bonnie (Zopfi) Klim. And her paternal grandfather, Louis C. Johanson, Sr.

A Memorial Service will take place this summer.
